Sixpence IT was founded by Joseph Kilbreth as an IT solution for home and small businesses. Everything from helping you learn about your computer's natural functions, to getting your company off the ground with business tools like Microsoft Office. We help our clients fix small issues like virus removal and hardware failure, to optimizing small business networks, connectivity, and continued support. Want to know how to use Microsoft 365? How We Do IT Differently

There are a hundred IT companies out there, many of whom are quite capable of meeting your company's needs. What makes Sixpence IT different is that, while we do offer personal, relatable advice on solving your personal or small business IT issues, Sixpence IT is committed to doing so with an ethic of integrity and generosity. We have been graciously given the ability to help others. We see this as an imperative to serve others. It's not just about fixing computers. It's about serving people. While our competitive pricing and complimentary consultations do help, our main focus is you and your needs, not just your technology and gaining your patronage. 

Why the Name "Sixpence IT"?

The name "Sixpence IT" comes from C. S. Lewis's book Mere Christianity where he gives an example of a child that asks his father for a sixpence (coin of small worth) with which to buy a gift for his father. The father agrees and is pleased with the gift from the child. Of course, the father is no "richer" for the exchange, but nonetheless, gives to his child happily.

At Sixpence IT, we feel that our knowledge and abilities are a gift. As such, we wish to give back with an attitude of gratefulness and service in response not only to our clients, but in a spirit of reciprocity for gifts given.
